Mr.Sam Mugume Koojo is the District Planner Kabarole
The Planning unit has a mandatory role of advising council on appropriate strategies and actions, given limited financial resources so as to maximize social and developmental benefits for the people of Kabarole. While pursuing the mandate, the unit act as a lead link between the District and MDA’s such as Ministry of finance planning Economic development (MoFPED), National planning Authority (NPA) and Office of the Prime Minister (OPM).
The Finance Department is headed by CPA Nkojo Robert Amooti as Chief Finance Officer. He works with a team of six officers.
CPA Nkojo says the Finance department provides the support role of mobilizing revenue resources, budgeting and accounting for all the financial resources of the District. It is headed by the Chief Finance Officer CPA Nkojo Robert and two Senior Officers, one in charge of expenditure and another in charge of revenue and budget.
Dr.Ruhinda Nathan is the District Health Officer (DHO) Kabarole.
He says the health department has made a lot of achievements in the five financial years 2010/2016 but he attributes these achievements to his hard working and committed team.

Eng. Stephen Wakataama is the district Engineer Kabarole but has a team he works with to implement government programs and ensure people receive good services. For the financial year 2016, Eng.Wakatama said that there has been manual routine road maintenance of 262kms of feeder roads using road gangs. The Community Based Services (CBS) at the District Level comprises of four sections manned by Senior Officers coordinated by the District Community Development Officer.

YOUTH LIVELIHOOD YLP PROGRAMME
The Youth Livelihood program was established in Uganda in, financial year 2013/14 with the aim of fighting poverty among the unemployed youths.
Kabarole District has been implementing the Youth Livelihood Programme since the financial year 2013/14 to date. Under this program, 126 Youth Projects have been supported. In the year under review, the district received an IPF of shs 238, 768,396 out of which 26 youth project proposals worth shs127, 633,500 were successful. Read More
