Procurement Section – Administration
1.0 Section Overview
The Procurement Section under the Administration Department is responsible for managing
all procurement and disposal activities of Kabarole District Local Government.
It ensures transparency, fairness, and value for money in the acquisition of goods, works, and services
in compliance with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets (PPDA) Act and Regulations.
2.0 Mandate
- Plan, manage, and coordinate all procurement and disposal activities of the district.
- Ensure compliance with the PPDA Act, Regulations, and guidelines.
- Prepare and manage annual procurement plans.
- Facilitate fair, transparent, and competitive bidding processes.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and reports.
