The Statutory Bodies Department ensures the effective governance and oversight of Kabarole District’s statutory committees and boards. The department facilitates the operations of key bodies such as the District Public Accounts Committee (DPAC), District Land Board, and Contracts Committee. This department supports transparency, accountability, and good governance within the district.
2.0 Mandate
- Provide administrative and secretarial support to statutory bodies and committees.
- Coordinate and facilitate statutory meetings and decision-making processes.
- Ensure legal compliance with government policies and district by-laws.
- Support the implementation of resolutions from statutory bodies.
- Manage documentation, records, and reporting for statutory committees.

District Public Accounts Committee (DPAC)
